I used to microwave marshmallows and mix them with peanut butter when I was a wee tot. They never blew up, but were pretty tasty.
As for the egg...
I must confess that Ben, Jeff and I (maybe Paul too?) use to blow up eggs in grandmas microwave all the time!! Grandma could hear them explode while she was watching t.v. and would get after us. It was really messy (as you can imagine) so we used to try and make contraptions out of her dishes that would contain the mess. Unfortunately, it never worked. They always blew open!! Grandma always got after us for our pranks, but I think she liked it when we would play tricks on her... well, except for when we drew on the t.v. screen! haha. Anyway, be careful blowing up eggs. I think we kind of blew an opening in grandmas microwave door doing it... oops. --Greg
